Food At The Festival

he details are still to be finalised but you can be assured that there will be plenty to eat and drink. For anyone that remembers the queues of 2011 we corrected that for 2013; for 2014 we will again have a proper caterer, with additional coffee and ice cream stalls, and of course there will be coffee tea and homemade cakes in the Tea Garden.

In the first instance there will be Breakfast options, including, Egg, Bacon and Sausage rolls etc.; there will be a Deli bar with Baguettes, Paninis and salad with many fillings, A Noodle Bar with 4 options, Griddled food, including, Steak & Onion, Lemon Chicken, Ground Beef Burger, free range Pork & Onion sausage. Add a selection of Indian dishes, Selections of desserts, a Pimms Bar, strawberries and cream, ice cream and Adult Ice cream too………..

This year the Tea Garden will be organised by Fair Close Day Centre; as it says on its own website, Fair Close is “is an Independent Charity set up to encourage , promote, and organise direct services appropriate to the needs of individual elderly people or groups of elderly people.” Fair Close has been well known to many of us in West Woodhay for many years and we are delighted to have their support and to support them. They will be assisted by representatives of Kintbury, Hamstead Marshall and Enborne
