For 2007 we invited local Colleges and Garden Designers / Contractors / Specialists to create Show Gardens at the West Woodhay House Garden Show, kindly sponsored by the Greenham Common Trust; we look forward to continuing and extending our Show Gardens competition in 2009 - as soon as details are available this website will be updated. 

For 2007 the theme was ‘A Room with a View’; participants would create a 6 m x 6 m Show Garden (sites available to Designers for up to 6 Weeks before the show for landscaping and planting) and prizes would be awarded to the winning three gardens. The judges were Lady de Ramsey of Abbots Ripton, Sir Simon Hornby, former President of the Royal Horticultural Society, Mr James Bunn, Head Gardener to Mr and Mrs Richard Griffith Jones, and Mr John Connor, Head Gardener at West Woodhay House.

The standard was very good and the winners were:
